What is SMOK?

SMOKtech, or most notably called SMOK, was founded in the year 2010. It is the number one brand of IVPS, a company which specializes in e-cigarette development and research along with sales and productions in all the markets worldwide. Its location is in the Nanshan district which is a part of Shenzhen. SMOK products have been bought by more than 80 million people around the world, making the company a first-class brand globally in electronic cigarettes.

The Reputation of SMOK Products

SMOK is one of the first companies in the e-cig industry and is known for pushing boundaries. In 2011, it became one of the original companies to start the use of dual coils in their products. They also implemented into their vaping devices Bluetooth technology and raised expectations in sub-ohms for the cloud production. The products from SMOK focus on stylish designs, durability, safety, and significant production of vapor. The company puts much work into creating original products. That wasn't always the case with vaping companies in China. Back when SMOK had the Magneto and Telescope, which were mods with mechanical tubes, their competition companies were pleased just to clone current designs during that time. SMOK has shown that creating original products has a lot of value and they have worked very diligently to become a top vaping company worldwide, and not just China. Experimenting has also shown a lot of value for SMOK. When the majority of the vapers around the world were hanging on the Boge cartomizers with the single coil, SMOK released the cartomizer with a dual coil. This product was a big step in vaping and proved to be very popular with the vape community.

Evolution of SMOK Products 2011-2012

Most consumers who vape know about SMOK's trendy TFV4 product, though the company has been revolutionizing the industry before the TFV4 release. The first big leap for SMOKtech came when they released a cartomizer with a dual coil, an industry first. The use of dual coils back during its first release was not very common. Smok was able to popularize these devices and consumers started to enjoy the higher level of vapor and flavor. In 2012, SMOK released a new product called the Telescope, which was capable of allowing the consumer to use a variety of batteries that ranged from the 18350 to the 18490/18500 to the 18650. SMOK patented this unique design, and the ZMax and VMAX mods became the company's attempt to bring a new line into the variable voltage world of vaping.

Evolution of SMOK Products 2013-2014

The company put out new technology in 2013 that was cotton-less, two products called the Tumbler and Pyrex Aro. They used a bottom-coil design that would help the consumer avoid any dry hits. Another product released that year was the eGo Winder, which was a take on what most would consider the first enthusiast e-cig. The last product released that year was the Magneto, which was an update of Smok's Telescope featuring a design that had much better looks and had a unique firing switch that was magnetic. In 2014, the variable-wattage started to become familiar, so SMOK started to release their own kind of products associated with it. The Shuttle, Silenus, and Rocket were all variable-wattage mods that were simple to use. Also in 2014 came SMOK's BEC Pro, which was their first device with Bluetooth capability. Future SMOK products would incorporate this feature.

Evolution of SMOK Products 2015-Present

SMOK had one of its best years in 2015, releasing a product that would appease the hardcore vapers. This product was its very popular TFV4, which redefined consumers' sub-ohm expectations. This tank was able to produce the same vapor that mechanical mods with atomizers that ran on very low builds could achieve, which was a first. This creation was groundbreaking and altered the perception of sub-ohms. SMOK's series called X Cube was also released. This product put together the high power variable-wattage with Bluetooth technology, Overall, 2015 was seen as SMOK's most productive year by many enthusiasts. In 2016, SMOK released the TF-RTA which was rebuildable. The H-Priv was another product released and gave versatility and power at a price that was affordable. Then came along SMOK's Alien starter kit, which became a viral device in 2016. The flagship product for SMOK that year was the TFV8, which was the TFV4's follow up. Since then, SMOK has released many other products in 2017 and 2018 that still revolutionize the vaping industry, and they continue to push the boundaries.

Community Involvement and Customer Service

Vaping Tour is an APP exclusive to SMOK which helps consumers manage their vaporizer smarter. It is also a social platform and can be used for sharing the vape life and make some friends around the world who also vape. When it comes to customer service, SMOK is very efficient.
